I'm still working on the house.
Still being still.
Waiting.
6-30 XXXX is still have problems with the "cop" rumor. I guess it is messing with his head, or maybe whoever is still telling him I am. I don't know. I will set out of Bible study today to see if he will go then. I don't know what to do about him...
Bible study is over and he went. I did not feel right about that.
Repeat left this morning. Before he left he said he would be back. There is a new guy who looked familiar but I could not place him. Then it hit me. He rolled in at the same time as us. (me and our employee) He was our employee's cellie. Then another repeat came in today. He had run out of gas and the police ran his background. Well, all the stuff that he had been released from was never cleared from their system. So they arrested him again. He tried to tell them but I'm sure you know how that worked. He will be here until they decide to check out the court stuff and see that he was released and done with it. We'll see how long that is.
The guys in the next cell flooded it. Of course the did it on purpose and it ran into our cell. The guards put them in the day room for the night. So they are running around playing with the TV, talking on the phones, and threatening to... (skippage- just gross) My patience will be perfect by the time I am out of here. I have completed my test it says in James.
7-1 I just finished reading for the night. Another name was added to the Book of Life today. It started with a simple question "How do I find God?" That was all I needed to hear.
I was told today that the ADA offered me the plea because he wanted to see if I "felt" that I did anything wrong. I was also told that he couldn't see through me like he can with the rest of these guys here. (who is saying this?? Is that their way of making an excusefor all this? "we just couldn't tell if he was lying or innocent so we kept him for over 8 months to see" urg!)
I read almost all afternoon. The morning was more active. Very loud and the guards were a target. Several of the cells had toilet water in them from last nights, whatever. The guys were cursing the guards out for nothing being done about it. They came and put them in the hole. However, they did come and fix the problem after that.
Prayer call was focused on praise and worship. I took the time to direct the guys to praise Jesus, thank Him and lift Him up. Some were a little uncomfortable with it. XXXX showed up when we started to pray. Please keep the ministry in here in prayer.
7-2 I dreamed about being home last night. Then in the dream I fell asleep and dreamed about being here. Weird stuff.
We had 5 new roll ins today. One rolled out already. One is going to be a real interesting fella. He came looking in all the cells and seemed to know a lot of the other guys here. It has not been as hostile in here the last few days. I pray it stays this way for a while. At least until I leave.
My replacement is a southern style of a preacher with that harsh edge. But I pray for the guys to hear the correct Word and to discern the teachings.
Repeat 2 was very involved in the studies and PC on his last visit. In fact he became one of the leaders in the small groups. Now he has been talking with the tier on how God created other people on other planets and how people were created men and women and said that a woman created a woman and man created man and where was God in the lives of people. Mixed up and crazy stuff. I asked him if I could read a verse. They agreed to listen so I read 1 Timothy 1:3-7 about idle talk and how they were from those wanting to be teachers but didn't know what they were talking about nor what they believe. Well, let's just say he got hostile. He trashed the Bible and those in it, he totally disrespected God, the Word and me. He will more than likely show up in my cell being aggressive later. We had just prayed for him last night. He had tears in his eyes as we prayed. What a flip he did today. We will all pray for God to handle it.
Prayer call was well attended and God was there. He has done so many great things for this new group of men. I pray peace over these guys lives.
Just so you all know- our employee who was arrested with Scott was released after just a few days. He's such a sweet kid so I was so glad when they let him go! Scott had guarded him like gold because he was so terrified in there.
Did I mention that I love my Man?

| What a letter! Thanks again for sharing them Bubbles....I just get so glued to the screen when I read them. I go through so many different emotions too. Soon....it will be soon. Victory is at Hand!!!! Love you my friend. |

I got to talk to him once and guys- lemme tell ya... his Louisiannan is SOO thick it's hard to understand him. He's in his 30's and as you can tell from the letters- flip flops. God's working on him and one week he's strong in his faith and the next- well... ya just wanna smack him. LOL |

Ah the life of a pastor. There are things being formed in him, he isn't even aware of until one day when he needs him - BING! Revelation from this for the rest of his life. You are right, he sounds steady. I am sorry, my fav was the guy's message about creation etc.! OMG - and Scott came in there, just like a good pastor, and took them back to the Word! This is the best!!! Geez religious spirits are in the jail too! And the funny thing is the people who get that like that are people who really just want to be right and love God alot!
We need to keep praying for him diligently tho-- just like any church needs to pray for their pastor. God expects that. I am praying those guys in there keep praying for him and pray for justice done.
Stick to the plan!

This is all that matters right now, not who's right, who's in, who's out or who's back. This is powerful... another name added to the Book of Life. Wow! God loves them so much He hand picked Scott to go down there and spread the Word of Salvation. When he's through, God will pick him back up and set him back on his feet with Bubbles and he will NEVER EVER BE THE SAME AGAIN... not to mention the guys who got saved. OMGSH!!
Love you for this sacrifice you are having to make for eternal life to be shared with the lost. What a sacrifice, not to mention Scott!
