According to NationMaster only 15 countries rate an equal 6 out of 7 points in their civil and political liberties statistics. No nation rates a perfect 7. Those nations rating a 6 are the USA, Uruguay, Canada, Norway, Australia, Iceland, Switzerland, Finland, New Zealand, Ireland, Portugal, Austria, Sweden, Netherlands and Denmark. Surpisingly, the UK does not rate as highly, with only a 5.5 and 9 countries rate a zero. They are Saudi Arabia, Libya, Burma, North Korea, Turkmenistan, Sudan, Cuba, Syria and Iraq. Go figure!
The one thing that NationMaster does not cover, is absolute freedom. That is only available in Christ. 5:1 For freedom Christ has set us free; stand fast therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.
