And on the seventh day God ended his work...which God created and made. He had 'created' 'in the beginning', but now He made the proto-types of what we now see, out of that original creation, but after the unfortunate historic destruction described by Moses, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and Peter. "Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.." You, my soul, are looking at the very end of the generations and productions of the creation periods, after which man was brought on the scene, a time when the hosts of heaven were already innumerable. For the opening words are 'in the beginning' or 'by generations' God created the heavens and the earth. The six evenings and mornings were over, and a renewed, and in someways new creation, was the result. This was the end of the creative generations and... |
