By night on my bed I sought him

 whom my soul loveth:

 I sought him, but I found him not.

I will rise now,

 and go about the city in the streets,

 and in the broad ways I will seek him

I'll NEVER Fall In Love Again

You told me when we first was wed
The thing to do was talk to you

I tried to do just what you said
You just said shut up instead
 

I love you so to heights and depths
My heart was content with whatever you said

But after awhile I begin to see
My love for you had been mislead

I'll never fall in love again
For our love was mostly misunderstood
But here I stand with no regrets
Because at least I put your love to the test

I failed, I failed
I cried my eyes crimson red
My heart, my soul, had been mislead

So now I can forever say
I'll never fall in love again

Just so you know
You could of had the one true thing
I had to give
I can't, I can't
