| Could your soul be in jeopardy? |

Does not going to church, or not spending enough quality time among like-minded Christ lovers put your soul in jeopardy? I think Yes.
You may not think so, but everyone is influenced by their surroundings, and the company they keep. If you are always around people with a negative attitude, you will begin to mirror that same negativity. If you are subjected to tasteless jokes, and or inappropriate behavior on a regular basis.... it wont be long before you become less and less offended by it. Sadly, this CAN even happen to those of us who have a relationship with Jesus. But Why?
11:11 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but [rather] through their fall salvation [is come] unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.
I have had to do some unavoidable traveling for the last few weekends. I am actually going to have to continue this weekend routine, for the next 3 weekends. That means I am not able to attend Church for a lot of the summer. It also means my only Christian connection is via "mychurch" when I can take a few moments out of my work day, and my "once a week" small group study with fellow church members. It is not enough.
I thank God that He brought to my attention my faltering consistency,my fading diligence,as well as my faithlessness which ultimately resulted in recent heartaches, moments of insecurity, worry, and anger, all of which I know could have been avoided had I compensated better for missing church, and just spent more "alone" time with the Lord, more time reading my bible, and especially more time praying. This would have kept me refreshed in HIM.
Instead, I got busy.... what a cop-out!!, who gets too busy for God? Ashamedly so, I did. My point here is that "it can happen", and when Satan sees that moment of opportunity to compromise your relationship with Christ he will cease it! The lesson here people is to stay close to Him, even when you cannot worship with other Christians, remain close to the father. In His presence you are safe. Don't turn to the resources of the world first for anything!! Bring everything to God first, solve nothing with your own thinking, and be diligent in seeking Him EVERYDAY. This world is way to dark to walk in without His light.
1:5 Yea, and for this very cause adding on your part all diligence, in your faith supply virtue; and in `your' virtue knowledge;
11:6But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
