I didn't mean to frighten anyone with my first blog post. I just wanted everyone to be aware that it's up to you, as individuals, to control the level of privacy here at MyChurch. To that end, I have included a link that will guide you through the process of setting the privacy on your page to the level at which you feel comfortable.

If you have privacy concerns, another thing you might want to consider is using a different display name. For example, I use another name on a social networking site for writers. Your display name can be changed at any time. Just go to your page, click on "settings", and input the name you'd like the world to see. Make sure you click "Submit" or the change will not take effect.
BLOG PRIVACY Blog entries can be a wonderful way of getting to know each other, but you also want to make sure you set your privacy level to reach your intended audience. Below, you will find the instructions for setting your privacy level, taken directly from the MyChurch FAQ page:
MyChurch provides all the privacy settings you would ever need for your blog. With each post, you can select who can view your blog. 
If you are part of a church or group, you can also write a blog only viewable by your church or group. Reporting a blog
