For the last few weeks I've been attending a local Messianic Synagogue. It's a small congregation a bunch of very loving people. Of course I remain with my home Church. Calvary Temple here in Terre Haute. But I believe many of us are being moved to operate with fewer and fewer denominational line.
I really like reading from the little prayer book and I really like occasionally looking up what I can from the Complete Jewish Bible. I can't really afford to go out and buy one unless I feel I'd really put it to use. The lord has been working with me concerning sterartship. as well as dealing compassionately with my brothers.
I still work at the addictions house, and I need to learn how to deal with the gus compassionately. However I still feel I need to avoid getting drawn into "filthy"conversations without being self righteous or alufe. How to do that I don't know except the book of James tells me that I can pray for wisdom.
From: Ya'akov, a slave of God and of the Lord Yeshua the Messiah To: The Twelve Tribes in the Diaspora: Shalom! 2 Regard it all as joy, my brothers, when you face various kinds of temptations; 3 for you know that the testing of your trust produces perseverance. 4 But let perseverance do its complete work; so that you may be complete and whole, lacking in nothing. 5 Now if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives to all generously and without reproach; and it will be given to him. 6 But let him ask in trust, doubting nothing; for the doubter is like a wave in the sea being tossed and driven by the wind.
Well I gotta go as it's time for work. If you have a moment please whisper a prayer that I can deal with the guys compassionately and wisely.
Blessings,
