The word used for "Christian" in the New Testament Greek means:Christ-One or Follower of Christ
Χριστιανός Christianos khris-tee-an-os' From G5547; a Christian, that is, follower of Christ: - Christian.
The word anointing in the New Testament means: To smear to rub or to apply
χρίσμα chrisma khris'-mah From G5548; an unguent or smearing, that is, (figuratively) the special endowment ("chrism") of the Holy Spirit: - anointing, unction.
If Christ was "The Anointed One" and we are "of Christ" that means we are the anointed of Christ.
2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you,
2:20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One,

The point I am making here is that you Have had the Holy Spirit applied to your life and now you are indued with power for service for God and to witness for Him.
1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me Acts 1:8a KJV YOU ARE THE ANOINTED OF GOD! THE ANOINTING IS NOT JUST FOR THE PREACHERS AND THE TEACHERS BUT EVERY FOLLOWER OF JESUS CHRIST HAS BEEN GIVEN THE IMPARTATION OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND IS EMPOWERED FOR SERVICE.
The Holy Spirit abides in you. He indwells your body. 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [which is] in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
Therefore you are Idwelled by the Holy Spirit then you are anointed by the Holy Spirit to be a witness for Christ and to build up the body of Christ.
The anointing is not just for the Peachers, Evangelists, and Teachers but it is for each and every one of us who follow the Lord Jesus Christ. If He is "The Anointed One" and we are "of" Him then it can be concluded that we are the anointed of God.!

| great blog..........we all need to be reminded that we are chosen and the anointed of God......Satan is such a liar......he tries to confuse us by having us think that only Pastors and teachers have the power of the Holy Spirit......God said He will pour out His Spirit on all flesh........He is no respector of a person....what He will do for one, He will do for another..... |
