4:8 above all things being fervent in your love among yourselves; for love covereth a multitude of sins: Do you not hear His Voice, more beautiful than any other, calling to you to pray because the days are evil. We need to seek God's face, and seek the POWER to do His will. The POWER is in living out the truths that HE (the HOLY SPIRIT brings to rememberance) reminds us of. Dear bothers and sisters, keep youselves unspotted from the world, and crucify the flesh with its affections and lusts. Do this by helping someone else who is hurting more than you, or who has less than you, and truly plot and plan to do good for someone else, and you will be blessed so much so that you won't be able to hold it in. I was not a cheerful giver, but I started giving, and I got super cheerful, and I pray for God to give me opportunities to give and He does. A few days ago, I was hungry and driving, and I thought of Burger King which was the closest place to eat, and I don't eat fast food often maybe once a month, so I pulled in and there was a homeless man. In California you can see who is homeless easily, and I asked him if he was hungry, and he asked me for 35 cents, which I had in my car, so I opened my wallet and as I did I heard Jesus' words "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you", and I handed the man 5 dollars and said this is because Jesus Loves you, and he walked off in a hurry. That is denying the flesh. Praying for missionaries is denying the flesh, so is not watching the idiot box (you know what I'm saying, the junk and fleshly lustful evil that the enemy works through). It is not about me it is ALL ABOUT JESUS! What do you have that He has not given you, and what do you really need; I say to you, more of His Love, more of His LIkeness living in you. Do you have a need, pray for someone else. Do you desire a gift, then give what you have and you will be blessed with more than you can imagine, by the very power that raised Jesus from the dead, the power which you have in you through the HOLY SPIRIT. 3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 3:4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as [they were] from the beginning of the creation. 3:5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 3:6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: 3:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day [is] with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 3:11 [Seeing] then [that] all these things shall be dissolved, what manner [of persons] ought ye to be in [all] holy conversation and godliness, 2 Peter 3:1:3 seeing that his divine power hath granted unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that called us by his own glory and virtue; 1:4 whereby he hath granted unto us his precious and exceeding great promises; that through these ye may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in that world by lust. 1:5 Yea, and for this very cause adding on your part all diligence, in your faith supply virtue; and in `your' virtue knowledge; 1:6 and in `your' knowledge self-control; and in `your' self-control patience; and in `your' patience godliness; 1:7 and in `your' godliness brotherly kindness; and in `your' brotherly kindness love. 1:8 For if these things are yours and abound, they make you to be not idle nor unfruitful unto the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1:9 For he that lacketh these things is blind, seeing only what is near, having forgotten the cleansing from his old sins. 1:10 Wherefore, brethren, give the more diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never stumble: 1:11 for thus shall be richly supplied unto you the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. 3-11 God Bless and prosper you all in Faith and make you to know His goodness with joy that can't be put into word's, and this day I speak life and healing into all of you and illumination in your minds by the power of His Holy Word.
