As most of you have seen MyChurch is a place where fellowship is pleasant and the needs of people are prayed over and genuinely addressed. To those reading this Ruth or Bubbles, as she is most affectionately known, for the joy and faith she displays under a present trial. These OoOo’s she often displays has come be her trademark as it were.

As you know, her situation to most of us seems unheard of in this present day. Her husband Scott, is being incarcerated in a Louisiana jail unjustly. The story can be read on Ruth’s/Bubble’s profile page. The law enforcement and judicial body in this parish has been repeatedly one-sided and corrupt. It's almost bizarre that this exists in America today. Ravished by Katrina this parish has been in the national news several times. It was the parish that the 35 elderly drowned in a nursing home during the floods of Katrina. Second, it was the parish where an investigation was done into the shooting of over 60 animals that had been entrusted to deputy sheriffs by fleeing residents. After investigating on the Internet I have come to find not only countless charges brought against the jail and it’s staff but many articles of complaints and accusations of corrupt political and law enforcement in this parish. It is a well know fact what group of men “control” this parish to it’s residents. Over and over again in the last 8+ months Scott, Ruth’s husband has been abused by the so-called justice of this parish. There are many besides Scott that has been a “target” of this injustice.
Proverbs 6:16-19 - These six things the Lord hates, indeed, seven are an abomination to Him:A proud look [the spirit that makes one overestimate himself and underestimate others], a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,A heart that manufactures wicked thoughts and plans, feet that are swift in running to evil, A false witness who breathes out lies [even under oath], and he who sows discord among his brethren.
We have come to love this couple, even though we have never met fact to face, and Scott has kept us posted via Ruth and when she posts his letters we all on the edge of our seats and are captivated by the glimpse into his life. Many of us have been touched by this couple and they are a couple!
Pastor Shawn, who was Ruth and Scott’s pastor in Louisiana, is feverishly working there to fight this corruption and free Scott.
Ruth has received encouragement for the Lord and the Body that God is working and is intervening. Many of us are praying and seeking God for his release and justice be done.
Can we fast now? Can we deny our flesh and use that time to come before the Lord for not only Scott but also the other men with him and that will come after him who will be subject to this tyranny? The picture keeps getting larger of who is affected by this. Scott’s court date is set for the 15th of July that is 4 days from now.
But he has been told “off record” it is the 14th! So everyone who would try and help him would be on there on the 15th and miss the actual hearing! Of course he could pay the $34,000 they are demanding and the whole thing would be resolved! How did they come up with that number?
We have 3 days from today to fast and seek the Lord for not only Scott’s release, but that JUSTICE BE DONE!

If you cannot fast food because of health reasons, there is T.V., sugar –ooo that will get our attention, ooh here it comes, all computer use except for business purposes. Movies etc. All that time we would be using for these things we would be praying and in the Word for this situation.
There is the Daniel fast of vegetables and broth for those who can’t tolerate complete fasting. Please let’s start tonight after 6pm as the Jewish culture does and deny ourselves for others!. We will fast through the business hours on Monday until 6pm. If you will do this, please comment below as so Ruth will be able to view the Love of God!
Thank you and death to this unholy and evil tyranny energized by the devil. Who is our real enemy here. Please pray for the salvation and conversion of the men who are being used to perpetrate this injustice.
Isaiah 58:6 -9 [Rather] is not this the fast that I have chosen: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the bands of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every [enslaving] yoke? [Acts 8:23.]Is it not to divide your bread with the hungry and bring the homeless poor into your house--when you see the naked, that you cover him, and that you hide not yourself from [the needs of] your own flesh and blood?Then shall your light break forth like the morning, and your healing (your restoration and the power of a new life) shall spring forth speedily; your righteousness (your rightness, your justice, and your right relationship with God) shall go before you [conducting you to peace and prosperity], and the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard. Exod. 14:19, 20Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; you shall cry, and He will say, Here I am. If you take away from your midst yokes of oppression [wherever you find them], the finger pointed in scorn [toward the oppressed or the godly], and every form of false, harsh, unjust, and wicked speaking …..
If you are reading this and it is Sunday, it is not too late! Just start today!

Excellent blog WW. I will fast, though I'm not sure what or how yet. (I just read this, need to ck calendar to make sure no major family events planned -- a good fast may require planning)
Has anybody thought of contacting Nightline etc. about this situation???

| Ruth and Scott, I will be doing all night prayers as my fast...the times here in England are 5 hours or so in front of most of you so I will stay awake as long as I can and lift Scott Hudnall to the Lord. Love you both...Stu! |

Thanks so much Mrs W for your love and compassion. (I've seen a lot of it on here lately, and it's TIME the Church BE the Church - thanks M n L for that encouragement!)
I totally believe in the fast that has been called by the woman of God. I had chills all over when reading this and the tears are pouring down all over my newly applied makeup. (Ha!) Since nothing but His will matters... regardless... I will join you in the fast. I already know what I am to sustain from and will be praying in agreement instead.
18:19 Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.
We must stand in agreement... this is happening all over to GODLY men and women. (I have a Pastor protege whose husband is going through the exact same persecution and the unjust amount against him is $94,000... his case's closing arguments are on July 17th.)
We are promised the victory but agreement will push it through to completion. (Faith without works is dead.) Thank God for the wisdom and knowledge about the true date. The Victory will come at the appointed time... the 14th! Woo Hoo! Scott's release is imminent.

P.S. I wrote a blog about Scott & Bubbles also... mine was more of an "in the meantime watch God work miracles through our faith" sort of Blog. It's the promise of God that carries us as we are going THROUGH the trials, not camping out in the trials... promises to bring back all that has been stolen. They have been on my heart so much lately... thanks again, as we stand in agreement and FAST. :)

| I've never fasted before but I will do it. I will fast from sugar. (sugary drinks to be exact, coffee, soda, tea....) God bless you and I'll pray that it all works out. Amazing the way people come together on here. Glad to be part of it. |

| I'm waaaaaaaaay late! It's Monday nite at 7PM my time. I was praying for them before I had read this today, and I read a scripture this morning in Isaiah about the justice of the Lord, and thought of them. I've been the recluse the past few weeks, but here in the next few days I hope to get back into the loop, and I am excited to hear of the day that Scott and Ruth are reunited on the "outside." |

This was so powerful, Mrs W. It began a LONGGGGGG fast... that culminated in BROKENNESS in the hearts of believers everywhere. Not just broken chains of the prison doors in LA, but broken chains in the prison doors of hearts and minds everywhere... a 'chain' reaction so to speak! Ha! Thanks for initiating this with His help... looking back I can see how God has used you in so many lives and in mine, of course. :-)
