Some of you may be asking WHY? Why am I reading this blog? This is why - there is a Young Adult Mission trip (ages 16-25) scheduled for Aug 10-Aug 16. Well, we need a willing adult male (over age 25) to join this really awesome mission. It may not be you....but you may know someone who could be the person we are looking for. So I am asking you to either prayerfully consider this really awesome Mission trip or pray that we find some one who you think would fit the opportunity. Requirements: A willing and compassionate heart Have a week of vacation they are willing to give up Ability to drive half the trip to Brownsville, Texas and back again in a week Be willing to drive in Matamoros, Mexico Must be able to endure HEAT (it is hot in Matamoros) Be able to work long hours Passport, greencard, or birth certificate and picture id. $200 cost What do we do in Mexico? We build wood frame houses appx. 12 X 20. They have 2 doors 2 windows, no running water, no electricity (it is in part of the Colonia) with concrete floors.
