Last night we had the kick off for the WOW Jams in Albany and Schenectady New York Sunday night at Victory Outreach Church on Quail Street in Albany. The atmosphere was electric and the praise and worship had everyone out of their seats dancing! The WOW Jam in Albany is going to be held Monday July 14 in Livingston Park in Albany. The one in Schenectady will be held Tuesday July 15 in Jerry Burrel Park in Hamilton Hill, the most notorious area in the entire upstate NY Capital Region. There was a television documentary about the three most dangerous places to live in the Capital Region and Hamilton Hill topped the list. I've lived in the Hamilton Hill section for 8 years now and in the first year the house i lived in was sprayed with bullets from a drive-by shooting. That summer there were numerous murders in Hamilton Hill and the State Police had to be called in the try to burb all the violence. I grew up in some of the worst parts of Brooklyn NY so I'm in my element, but besides that, He that is in me is greater than He that is in Schenectady!

WOW Jam is an awesome event and everything is free to the public. For information about WOW jams visit http://www.wowjam.com. The flyers we pass out don't talk about Jesus. The biggest word on the flyer is "FREE". We just want people to come. Within 3 weeks we alread had everything we needed for the event. Talk about the Lord providing! There is also no shortage of volunteers! The music is loud and its not all Christian music. What? We're not inviting people to a Christian concert. we are invading the enemy's domain with a strategy that will succeed. We are going to love the people into the kingdom. If you are not experiencing an explosion of growth in your church maybe you should go out to where the people are and love them. That is what people are looking for. So when they can't find it they look for love in all the wrong places. The whole celebration culminates with the message of the Gospel and the altar call. Steven and Linda Tavani lead the singing. Linda Tavani was formerly "Peaches" from Peaches and Herb with such hits as "Renuited" and "Shake Your Groove Thing". One miracle already is to see all the Pastors from different churches working together. The ones that don't get invloved don't reap the rewards. I'm expecting miracles, people getting saved, and people getting healed and others getting baptized in the Holy Ghost and fire. What do you expect God to do? Are you hoping for God to do something in your area? Stop hoping and start expecting. When a woman hopes she can have a child it's one thing. When she is expecting she starts to make preparations. She gets the things she needs for when the baby is born. What do you need to do to prepare for what you are expecting? Maybe you haven't gotten it yet because you are still hoping. Stop trying to do things and just do them. Put you faith into action and activate it. Get 2 or more to join their faith with yours and agree with you. Then see what God is able to do.
