19:26 But Jesus beheld [them], and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
In my last blog I mention a friend of mine who's sister is in ICU. I don't think the doctors gave them much hope that she would improve, but she is improving. The family did a webpage journal thing for her and it gives constant updates, at the end of each update they either say thanks for the prayers or praise God. They realize that God is making here recovery possible. It's true, with God ALL things are possible. Jesus didn't say some things were possible, but he said ALL thing were possible. God gives hope to the hopeless, with God, Miranda's getting better, it's a long battle but there is hope that she'll get better. My friend, Casey, knows that it is through God she is getting better and even though she doesn't want her sister to go through it and it hurts for her to see her sister there in the hospital bed she still knows that God is there for her and she is still trusting in God, kinda like Job.
13:15 Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.
Though all these trials are in front of her and her family, they are still trusting her. What would it be like if we were all like Job, all able to serve & trust God through everything that comes against us? |
