Okay, so most of you have read my blog An 80's Generation Funny . Well, the coolest thing happened with that blog. As the comments grew one of the people commenting mentioned he was class of '85 Central High, Manchester, NH. Well, cool beans, 'cause so am I!!!!! So we've been taking a stroll down memory lane. We've messaging each other back and forth about who we hung with, who we remember, where we hung out. We were not friends in high school, nor were we enemies, just classmates. With over 600 students in our class alone it was easy to not have an opinion about everyone in school.
God is so cool!!! Brother Todd was a Christian in high school--me sooooo not at all. Under his pic was a scripture-- "Two are better than one...for if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow...Ecclesiastes 4:9-10" I, on the other hand, had a reference to a trip to a strip club my girlfriends and I were planning as soon as we were of age. Yeah, go figure why we weren't friends? (major sarcasm!!)

 Hey, you can even see my pink braid in this one!! My braid was in need of a redye in this pic. It is a pretty bad photo--it is from the morning of my lazer procedure back in May so no make up.
Anyway, we're excited that God would cause a reunion here on mychurch! I would have never thought I would meet a former classmate on here. After all, our senior prom's theme was "Party '85". Yeah. So you know what our graduating class was like.
I think it is so cool that after 23 years God has ordained this time for us to remeet and connect as members of the body of Christ. How cool is that?!!

| It's so cool when Jesus does these kinds of things. I am sure there are many others who have become Christians since high school. |

| The steps of the righteous are ordered by the LORD. This was a cool connection. To think I almost missed her until Coreena said she went to the "Worchester Centrum" then I knew she was from my area. This is so cool on so many levels. First of all, in High School I knew a ton of people, but somehow missed Coreena. Yet, after 20 something years God brings her into my life, even if it is on a casual basis. I look forward to being a blessing to her. Secondly, I live in South Alabama now a long ways from New Hampshire the place I was born and raised. I have not been back to NH in over 20 years! Then to reconnect with someone with practically the same background as me WOW! As you can see the years have been much kinder to Coreena, than me, but isn't it wonderful to reconnect through MYCHURCH? It is truly a blessing for me! So how did y'all like my hair? Now I have none! |
