Let's go over "the basics" The simple, direct, beautiful TRUTH of how to "Be Saved"

John14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Eternal Life comes from salvation. Salvation is a free gift from God. ALL that is required to be saved is to confess you  are a sinner, believe Jesus Christ died was buried and rose again and was the substitute for our sins, and with the faith of a mustard seed receive Our Father's free gift. We cannot earn it, buy it, or give it away or sell it. Salvation is by grace alone through faith alone, in Christ alone- PERIOD!

Ephesians 2:8-9 " for by grace have ye been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, `it is' the gift of God;  not of works, that no man should glory. "

The "real" work has been done. Our Father loved us so much He gave HIS only son to die for us. Jesus has built a bridge back to Our Father in Heaven as the sacrifice for all mankind. HE died that we may live eternally with God The FATHER ("propitiated" = won favor, or "reconciled")  us to Our Father.in Heaven. HIS Blood covered all our sins; every one,  from the largest to the smallest. If you were the only human on earth,  He would have died for you; because HE is Love and HE Loves you.
