| Four Duties of a Christian Soldier |

Well as I was looking over some of my notes from camp, I found some from this lecture, that is very very good.
Duty #1 - Don't Get Captured! Colossians 2:8 See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ.
Just don't let them get to you, know what you're sharing with them, and study the Bible so you don't get pushed in a corner where you can't get out of and get captured.
Duty #2 - Capture the Culture Not the Flag! 2 Corinthians 10:5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
Duty #3 - Capture the Captured! 2 Timothy 2:24-26 And the Lord's servant must not quarrel; instead, he must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. Those who oppose him he must gently instruct, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.
Duty #4 - Live Off the Land! (Don't remember the passage for this one, doesn't look like I wrote it down)
But remember as Christian soldiers we are not fighting a physical battle against persong, but rather "against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." (Ephesians 6:12)
2 Corinthians 10:3-4 "For though we walk in flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of flesh, but divinelypowerful for the destruction of fortresses"
God bless, Elizabeth
