I live just up the road from a car-wash station. My wife and i where planning to go see a drama at our local theatre. So i decided that i would take my car for a wash before we leave for the show. On arriving, i could not help but notice the previous customer yelling at the manager for pour service.
Too be frank, i don't know what he was going on about. His vehicle was spotless. And being in the region i could not help but eaves-drop. Turns out he was upset because there was dust in the one electric window control.
Here follows my interpretation of the incident:
Owner: "Never have i seen such bad service! Bring me a cloth and i'll show you how to clean!" Manager:" Sorry for the service sir. Let me just get someone to assist you."
Owner: " Hurry-up man! i don't have all of the day!" Manager: "Lindi, can you come and finish-up here? Thank you. Sorry again..."
Owner: "If you do your job better you would not have to apologise so much... Just look at this mess! Really! I will never bring my car here again!"
Owner:" I am phoning my wife and telling everyone of this bad service!"
What i don't get is this, why is it so easy to condemn others but not yourself. If he can clean his car better why does he take it for a wash.
And, what if Jesus was like that guy! What if Jesus gave up on us like he gave-up on that poor bloke for all the bad service he has recieved from us!
Do we understand that by condemning others we condemn ourselves. By getting upset over a $7 car-wash were selling our salvation for 7bucks! 6:12 And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
Amen!
