| Who's In The Closet? |
|
| |
1:5 And this is the message which we have heard from him and announce unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. America has considerable closet confusion!
Sicko-vision (nasty, negative, and disrespectful TV and movies) has come out of the closet -- clean, uplifting, and positive entertainment has all but vanished into the closet; buried under the "G" or "PG" label.
Cheapo sex has come out of the closet -- sexual purity has retreated into the closet.
Profanity, vulgar conversation, and adolescent language have leaped out of the closet -- clean, respectful, and honorable language has all but disappeared into the closet.
Pornography has exploded out of the closet -- respect for a fellow human being and her (or his) body has retreated into the closet.
Homosexuality has danced out of the closet -- the sexual morality of almost all cultures, religions, and time periods has been slammed into the closet.
Drugs have come out of the closet on to TV commercials, street corners, and even the Sheriff of Williamson County (Brentwood, Franklin, TN) was arrested for buying drugs -- while living drug free is slipping into the closet.
Abortion is way out of the closet -- while pictures of the dead aborted babies are so far in the closet that they are never shown in the popular US media.
Violence and militarism are hyped-up and closet free -- non-violence as a lifestyle is so deeply in the closet in most people's minds that it is regulated to the Amish.
Lavish lifestyles are out of the closet and flaunted on the "red carpet" -- the despair and hopelessness of modern American poverty are lodged deeply in the closet.
It seems that every religion, cult, and new age idea, is now out of the American closet -- however; passionate, heart-felt, sacrifical, Biblical Christianity seems to be in the very bottom of the closet. |

| I'm gonna write a poem from the inspiration that gives me. I just read that without holiness no one will see the Lord. I am reminded that these are perilous times and we as the body of Christ need to be those living epistles written by God's hand of grace with each breath we take, and give ourselves to God to do with us as He pleases. I stand for Jesus and it isn't popular, sometimes even in Church which is where demons hang out spewing condemning and twisted lies into the minds of as many people as possible. We as true followers of Christ need to live in such a way that we are showing the demonstration of His Spirit and Power in every are of our lives, and that we have the solution to the problem, the Gospel, the blood of Jesus is the cure for these problems. |

| Amen, Paul. The delay is to give us, believers, the opprotunity to repent and to seek God with all our heart. "If my people . . ." |

| Sad "But True" and that's why we as Christians need to stand and lift the name of Jesus to the world! |

.... as I pondered over what you wrote bro I wondered, 'could it be those who are in the world and are not of it... are meant to see a sharp contrast, so they can be put in mind of where they come from and where HE has brought them by HIS grace?' "could it be we are meant to see such, so we can stand in faith for them (in our prayer closets) with compassion, thanking HIM for offering HIS mercy to ALL... as His Spirit reminds us of the fact HE chose us, and translated us out of the kingdom of darkness, into HIS glorious light (perhaps for such a purpose as HIS army, in our present age)?' 'could it be ALL is part of HIS unfolding glorious plan... giving ALL the opportunity to choose light over darkness, darkness being a necessity for a season?' 'could it be we are to focus on what HE has done for us all, what HE promises, as we stand before HIM aware we are redeemed through Christ ... rejoicing with eyes to see through HIS eyes of eternity?'
I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. Isaiah 45:7
For you were sometimes darkness, but now are you light in the Lord: walk as children of light: Ephesians 5:8
Who also declared to us your love in the Spirit. For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that you might be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; That you might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; Strengthened with all might, according to HIS glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; Giving thanks to Father, Who has made us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of His precious Son: In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him: And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist. Colossians 1:8-17
But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should shew forth the praises of HIM who has called you out of darkness into His marvellous light:
For Father God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of Father God in the face of Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:6
Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous. Psalms 112:4

All you're written Man of God is true, it is written in Mattew 5:6 just keep letting your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. For this battle is not ours it belongs to the Lord. You are allowing your light to so shine, your work in the Lord is in our prayers! It only takes a little light to drive out much darkness... Don't forget what we see in the natural is not spiritual. Thanks for revealing the enemy works it is our God that is bringing it to the light!!! Now, come on laborers keep the good work up..... |

Keep up the good work Steve. It is greatly needed. Many have fallen back into the closets. Twice dead, plucked up by the roots and all. The sad part is that they have told themselves that it is okay and will even quote scriptures about the Grace of Christ, back at you to shut you up. Many are following in their pernacious ways. Having a form of Godliness and denying the power that will convict them of their sins. Of such we are warned to not fellowship with. The time we live in has gotten so dark is it sad to know that Jesus died for this! His Spirit in me is grieving so much, at times I can hardly stand it. I do more crying than praying. I pray He comes back very soon.
Shalom to you my friend Sister Marcia |
