Great motto, Larissa.

At 15 I wish I was doing a Bible study and in love with the Lord. I'd give anything to start out on fire for God at a young age, but I'm glad I came to know Him at age 25 anyway.

God bless you.....

Hello Larisa,  I think the Bible study is a wonderful idea!  I like Aaron, got saved at 25 and I sure wish I knew the Lord at your age.  The key to not getting nervous is to focus on Him and His capabilities.  When we focus on ourselves and our inabilities, things just won't go the same.

I tried to send you a friend request, but it asked for your last name.  Although I wouldn't recommend you giving out that information, you can send me a request, and I would be honored to be your friend :)

The verse you quoted is to Timothy from Paul (his mentor and spiritual "fatherly figure"). It definitely applies to folks who attempt to nourish and lead others who are older or more experienced than they. Best wishes for success in your Bible study! ~mike

Hi Larisa,  It is very inportant to lean our Father's Word. You can not seperate the writen word from the Living Word. The Greek word for both is "Logos".

But, beware. There are many wolves in sheeps clothing. Don't listen to this man, or any other man (no gender intended) without checking him out. There are many study tools. Some are from great scholars. I am partial to a man named E. W. Bullinger (1837-1913) You can find his books all over the internet with google. May I sugest you check out Artisan Publishers. www.artisanpunlishers.com. A Strong's "Exhaustive Concorddance" is a must. There are new versians and you have to watch out for them. They are not up to Dr Strong's work.

It was first published in 1890 and is still considered the best by the true scholars of our time.

Good luck in your study. It is a great book. A lover letter from our Father!!

Hi Larisa,

I saw your blog and just wanted to drop in too. Would you mind sharing with us a little on that new idea you have? And yes, "God can do all things!" Just let Him work through you.

When I study His Word, I ask the Holy Spirit to teach me new things. And guess what? He never lets me down! Every time I read the Word, I see something new in the scriptures. Of course, it is the Holy Spirit showing me what I was not ready before the last time I read that same scripture.

I promise you, if you read and study your Bible every day of your life, you will always "see" something new in the text. TYJ! He is AWESOME! :)

Hey I think that it great for someone young to be so active in there faith. Just think of this when people say that you are young that the John was only a little older then you when he walked with Jesus and started his work for the Lord! God Luck and God Bless!!!!
