Dear Someone, Before I begin I want you to know that there is a God and He is very concerned about you. He loves you very much and because He does, I do, too. That is a hard concept for some people to understand. So, while many will not believe it, it doesn't change the fact and so I will create this Blog to you. I wish I could sit down and have a cup of coffee with you and have a good cry. But, since you are in Illinois and I am in Iowa, we will have to do with this. I do work from sun up to sun down. I wish I didn't have to. I wish I could just quit my job and become a full time minister. But, that is not for me right now. God reminds me that that there are people at work who I need to reach. There are days, though, I want to be selfish and just stay home rolled up into a ball in a corner of my own little world. But, I get up, praise God for a new day, and go to work. For that is what I have to do right now. I'm not certain what your "urge" is but I understand that it isn't to harm yourself or anyone else. However, let me encourage you to try to share this "urge" with someone and do it soon. The emotions you are describing need to be shared with someone who cares and who can offer a shoulder to cry on. God didn't put us on the earth to go through our lives alone. We are to be here to encourage and lift each other up. I know you have met people who don't "practice what they preach". But, there are people out there who do. Promise me you won't do anything "stupid" before giving someone a chance to talk to you about the Love of God as well as sewing underwear together. I've never had to do that but would love to hear about it! Divorce is very complicated and even more so when it goes against everything you believe in. However, there is a time that you must stand up and not accept bad behavior. By the way, do you know that the Bible doesn't say you must NEVER divorce. There are reasons provided for in the law that allows for divorce. Without knowing why you are divorcing, it does sound as it you had no other choice. My imagination can go over board when you said it was affecting your children. I will pray for you. For your health, your divorce, your children, your husband, and for someone to talk to. You can be assured we will, at least, make you laugh on this site. We are, afterall, a bunch of normal, serious nuts! You can, also, be assured that we will pray for you. That is what we do best.
