Good afternoon 2 all;
Many years ago I tried to help out a friend who stayed in my extra room (actually he slept on my couch most of the time). He stayed at my house for about a year as I sponsored him in AA during that time. He did OK for about 18 months.
He had a daughter who was 8 at the time. She used to spend weekends at my house. She was and is an awesome little girl. Unfortunately she lost her Daddy a little over 5 years ago. He fell off the wagon 5+ years ago, and was killed in an auto accident.
Her mom has more than a few issues her self, but is currently doing a good job at recovery. But Hannah had a special friend who was a mormon lady. This lady had taken her under her wing as it were. Unfortunately this lady passed away last weekend.
She was a Mormon Lady who had cancer. She was an elderly lady. I had been praying for her as I knew she was loosing this battle. I didn't really know her and really didn't have a chance to see her during this time. I guess the church folks kept an eye on her.
Personally I don't know what's up with the Mormons. I don't know if they are saved or not. At the risk of sounding closed minded I had been praying for this lady. and as always I pray for Hannah. I ask that you all with my church family will do the same.
Personally I think of Hannah as at least a niece. I can't believe that this little 8 year old lady is going to be a Junior this year. My how time flies.
I'm sure Yeshua has a calling for this young lady.
