Howdy brothers and Sisters;
I've been reading the cross and the switchbleade, which is an awsome book I might add. I'm currently a little over half way through the book. I had read it before around the time that Neil Armstrong was walking around on the moon. I thought it was a pretty cool book then. I felt the tug on my heart. But I chose Sex Drugs and Rock and Roll, and then I ordered more of the same. his time I have a new heart.
I've been clean from dope for a little over 19 years. It's been a little a year since I smoked a cigarette. And I desparately want to know God better. Being as this book was written in the early 60s there are a few things that slap me in the face.
one of them is that there was probably a time when addiction was thought of as an Urban problem. (that time is long past). and another thing comes from an even cooler book.
