Is verse 8 true.......... because people don't do, or......obey.... verse 7? God helps us!
55:7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. 55:8 For my thoughts [are] not your thoughts, neither [are] your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

Amen Paul. I think that's cetainly true. Let us have our mind (and thoughts) renewed by continually saturating it with His word, His truth. For then we have the mind of Christ, and we delight in Him and the Lord gives us the desire of our hearts (Ps. 37:4).

It's amazing when you stop and think about that. He MAKES our thoughts to line up with His. re-making our minds.... No wonder the world thinks were nuts!

The apostle Paul used the term the mind of Christ. We need the transformation by the renewing of our mind for the carnal mind sets itself up against God.
