| How to Link or Plug a Blog to Your Comments |

Many have seen the infamous "Blog Plugs" done by Mike This gave me the idea for us all to list our favorite blog here on MyChurch. Hopefully this will also get you in the "groove" to start your own blog pluggin'! Cause it really does work! It brings some of the older blogs back around again. Some blogs make you laugh, some make you cry, some cause us to learn, some cause us to have our beliefs verified. Whatever the reason, let's all plug our favorite blog, so that others may be able to read your favorites. I will start with my all time favorite blog, here on MyChurch and please feel free to add yours. The only rule I can think of is to only have each blog "plugged" one time on this page. If your favorite is already plugged, simply let us know your favorite and choose another blog. To plug a blog: Simply go to the blog, via the search engine, then "right-click" up top in the address bar and click "copy", then go back to this page and click the "comment" section to put the cursor there, and "right-click" and choose "paste." Just make sure you don't type on this page and leave the page or your comment will be gone when you come back :) Don't you hate when that happens? So get the "plug" first, then come back and type your comment. Oh, and did you Star your favorite blog? Added information on 5/10/07 This is from Carebear Thanks Carol! Example: Yahoo 2) Highlight this word or phrase with your mouse 3) Click on the 'links' icon button on the editor 4) Paste the actual URL that you want to link to in the 'Link URL' field. Reading someone's thoughts inspired by the Savior is like sharing a priceless treasure!! Carebear, what do you mean by "recently starred list"? The blogs we're starred, or our blogs with stars? You could show either one I guess! |

Following up on Carebear's What I would like comment. A testimony section in my profile. If I've posted a comment to a specific thread, notify me of followup comments on my home page (same goes for things I've starred). Yeah I know I could get mailed about it, but I get enough mail the way it is. |

Hey, I've got a plug! MaryAnn, Thanks for the star, I can always count on you girlfriend :) It doesn't matter whether you watch American Idol or not, it could just as easily be called "Entertainment vs Worship" as someone re-title it for their blog and then typed their opinion. I just used that title to make a point that entertainment is for man and worship is for God. Although obvious, I think many times people mix the two. |

Yes, I see that now that I've read your Idol blog. I thought maybe it would be specific to American Idol. There was another blog about Harry Potter that I did not read... I figured I would not have anything to contribute since I haven't read the books and I don't have any kids. I'm gonna have to try and find that now... |
