This is absolutely amazing Keith. You are becoming an amazing annointed Pastor. I look forward to more... when I think of traditions I tend to think of Catholisism or Lutheran. I couldn't handle the guilt of any of them. I actually tried to convert to Catholasism and couldn't but I did try to confess for 3 hours and the priest was so worn out before he said..are you a Catholic

Amen! Amen! Amen!!  The Spirit truly speaks to you in a powerful way, Evangelist Keith. You are being given a wonderful gift of The Word and are able to deliver it in such a way that the "rest of us" understand and are given a new meaning.  Your timing is impeccable!

I wonder if this post has been inspired by the fact that you and your Worship Team will be making frequent trips into "the desert" on Soul-Winning Fellowship excursions, leaving your flock looking inward at themselves for the Gift of the Spirit?  Perhaps they, like those in Galilee, feel they cannot possibly hold Church without their Shepard.  They should not doubt themselves or the great teachings they no doubt have been given; this is a chance to let the Spirit take hold and work miracles in their lives and in that Church!  Do I hear a very loud Amen?

It's also very true that every Christian needs time alone every day to commune with God.  We must find a specific place where there is quiet, no disruption, to meditate and pray -- just you and The Lord.  In this way we can be assured that our minds stay focused and clear, we can hear Him, and He will order our steps.  I learned this from my Pastor.

May you all receive every blessing and every ounce of love you can stand!

Peace,

Deb

Ah yeah!  God is so good -- ALL the time!  I'm sure you get across to the masses; it's just that many people don't enjoy writing as much as I do! ;-)  I really love this post!

Hey brother,
Working on a sermon this morning and came across Paul's words to the Romans recorded in 15: 20It has always been my ambition to preach the gospel where Christ was not known, so that I would not be building on someone else's foundation. 21Rather, as it is written:
"Those who were not told about him will see, and those who have not heard will understand." 22This is why I have often been hindered from coming to you.
It seems he struggled with this as well as does so many other pastors like myself. Getting the church to understand the simple message that Jesus once told his folk. "It is the sick that need the doctor." Most often, the sick are not inside the four walls of the traditional church.
Don't get me wrong. The church does have its place. However, we simply must move outside the brick and mortar starting with our immediate communities and allow the Holy Spirit to take over.
