Ok, I admit it.

Fortunately, by God's grace I am able to resist the urge to "slap down" another penguin. 

I don't think he was slapping the other guy...if you watch closely, you'll see that the foot of the penguin on the left actually breaks through the ice before the other one touches him...so, my conclusion?  He was trying to be a helpful big-bro penguin and catch him before he fell in, but alas, too late...  :) j/k
