You are right Joe.  I pray that I can have the courage to be a better bond-servant of Christ.  I believe fear is the cancer of the Church, and apathy it's plague.  I long for more passion from God's people.
God bless you for this blog.

wonderful post. For me I have come to learn that faith without works is dead. I do all that I can to help others/ including the needy & those that are lost. Thank you for your blog. god bless

Well Joe, yet another good blog. I feel where you are coming from. We both seem to be really paasionate about the gospel. I pray that others can have the passion to really make a difference. The problem with most "Christians" is that they don't really believe what the bible says. Once Jesus comes whoever is ready to go will go. The rest will really have something to weep about when they find out that their belief wasn't enough for them to go with Jesus.

Yes indeed Brother Joe...This is right on the money.  You said...

Our thinking has to Change.
All faith...No works.
God is thinking it, I just Said it.

Well my friend I have been saying it for a long time and will continue to proclaim it until Jesus comes...Faith is not enough...We have to add some things to that faith...Talk is cheap...As the old saying goes..Put your money where your mouth is ;o)

2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Also the Word of God declares...

22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward [is] with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

Let us continue to work my friend while it is *day* because the *night* is coming when no man will be able to work!

God isnt weeping. He gave his Son so that all might be saved should they chose to do so. It is our choice. It goes beyond that. The word says people are brought to repentence by two things. God's goodness and kindness.

He respects everyones right to choose. People place themselves in such a place of importance. If one person doesnt step up, the Lord has many more. Its just one blessing that person misses.

Many people want to point to a defeated foe in satan as the reason they fall. No, its a choice every person makes.  If we want to encourage fine, but encouragement should never come laced with performance ideas. The law Kills.

Hi, Grace Alone, read this.
2:14 What [doth it] profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
3:9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain. 3:10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject; 3:11 Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.

Now you been told, no excuse to think, Jesus dying, exempt you from following in his shoes.
Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God..I love you keep studying.

2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 2:12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. 2:15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.

Grace Alone.
I hope you read every word..I'm not peaching..I'm teaching..

Brother Kansas City, it tears my heart. I've come to think of it this way - the Word IS  a double -edged sword. One edge, yes - we experience the joy of the Lord, land its an undeniable high joy. But, also the other edge - Christ's pain! Our heart bursts with it! Tears ours heart up! Throws us to the ground with pain! THAT PAIN, that edge, is THAT WE MIGHT GO, AND DO! AND MAKE OUR RESPONSE TO CHANGE THE LIVES OF THE BROKEN! Brother Kansas city Joe.  I read, and I weeped. Bless you as you go about wearing the heart of God. Wear it with joy. Wear it with pain. Wear it well as  you go out dressing the wounds of the wounded!

P.S. You look changed, different, new, this glorious 08/08/08. I didn't recognize you! Your looking well wearing a t-shirt brother and shave brother! God bless you. // Do it all unto the Lord!!

My sweet Sister..every little bit counts..if all you can do is a little
that little counts..it like the lady that only had two cent, but it was
the most to Jesus..cause it was all she had..so your little bit is
worth more than the large amounts..believe me.. I love you..

How can we say that we love God and let our neighbors perish?  Let's do something now, for there is coming when no man can work.

Oh, as Kansas City says my "Jesusrestores" sister! But also,
Little things are never ever little things at all.
For instance, one day, I stopped to smile and say hallo and some words
to a fella panhandling down town.  After which I said to him, I'm sorry, I haven't any
money for you today. " Do you know what he said to me, sister? He said, You saw me. And you stopped and smiles and talked to me. Thats worth more than a million bucks!
My dear, the littles are worth m ore than a million bucks! You are rich! Give up the little often!
blessings to you tonight/today!
