Thought I would stop by before I get into my day. I have a meeting today at Boys' Home about the boys attending our church. Pray all goes well and they can continue to come. God never ceases to amaze me, we gave some extra to missions Sunday and got an unexpected check on Tuesday (God is good).
Victory Bible Class tonight,
6:19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 6:20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 6:21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. 6:22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. 6:23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great [is] that darkness! 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. We will be looking at this passage tonight and trying to nail down how important goals are in our lives. The wrong goal can impact our course of action, our outlook on life and our character. We are meeting with the builder tomorrow night, we are also looking at a building about one block away to use as a fellowship hall? Please pray for wisdom as we have to make some huge decisions pretty soon here at Faith.
