Yesterday we arrived home after a long stressfull day at our workshop. I have this little pool for the kids and I decided to take them outside for a little while. I was filling up the pool for my 3 little ones and then I would squirt them with the hose and they would run around, and then my 2 yr. old decides he wanted to head for the street. He had stepped off of the curb and was behind my car, I started to run after him and I noticed this red truck coming from 2 blocks down, so all of a sudden I stopped running, knowing if I kept running, out in the street he would have went, and I stood there saying, Stephen, come here, there is a car coming, don't run in the street. He had not a clue what was going on, he was just playing around, not knowing the dangers of getting hit by a truck, but I could see the whole picture, I knew what would happen if he ran in the road. I just please God, don't let him move, then the truck sped by and I ran to get Stephen. It reminded me that even though I knew the danger he did not. We sometimes need to stop and listen, to hear from God. What is it He is trying to tell us. There are times when we might not like what he is telling us, but you know what, He can see the whole picture, so just listen. 18:30 As for God, his way is perfect: The word of Jehovah is tried; He is a shield unto all them that take refuge in him. 13:4 Ye shall walk after Jehovah your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.
