58:10The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked. 58:11So that a man shall say, Verily [there is] a reward for the righteous: verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth.
LAB comments: Of all people, our national leaders should be just and fair. When they are unjust and unfair, people suffer. The rich get richer, the poor get poorer, politicians wrest power from the people, national morality deteriorates, and God is ignored. When right triumphs at last,"the righteous shall rejoice". Be assured that there will be a day of accountability and that God judges fairly. Becareful never to side with injustice, lest you find yourself standing before an angry judge.
