I had a thought, of why people get so caught up in having things of this world, and I came to understand, it is because they don't realize that this is a test run..that many of us is failing..God didn't set out with this in mind, old Satan mess it up, then Eve, followed by Adam..After their disobedience, God had to sacrifice His own beloved Son for our foolishness..which is why Jesus is coming back to set things right..to get rid of all evil and suffering..so we need to be focusing on God and giving praise always so we will be apart of His real plan..and that is peace among all..happiness for all..joy for all.
Life forever to those that are faithful to Jesus Christ
our Lord and Savior.
21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God [is] with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, [and be] their God. 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. 21:6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. So to all God's people let the things of this world go. They will not last, they will only cause you to miss out on the real Prize. And that is to be with Jesus for eternity..think about that.
May God Have Mercy on US ALL.

Powerful blog my friend....Don't Miss the Real Prize....Oh Brother Joe that's what I'm living for..that is what drives me every day..that is to live eternally with my Lord.....New Jerusalem shall come down from heaven to this earth and that is where we shall be forever...and ever..and ever...The bible says a voice was heard out of heaven saying...to those here on earth..Behold the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people...Oh I look forward to that day....When the entire House of Israel shall be one....gone shall be the issues of denominations...and races, etc. etc....We all shall be ONE living in True Peace and Harmony.....here on earth.......Oh yes...this is just the test run....and man has failed.....that is why JESUS shall return to make all things new and do what man couldn't do himself...live without GOD...
132:13 For the LORD hath chosen Zion; he hath desired [it] for his habitation. 132:14 This [is] my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it. 132:15 I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread. 132:16 I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy. 132:17 There will I make the horn of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp for mine anointed. 132:18 His enemies will I clothe with shame: but upon himself shall his crown flourish.
1:9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. 1:10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 1:11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. 1:12 Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day's journey.
Oh yes Jerusalem here on earth, is where our Lord shall be ruling and reigning forevermore!!!! I'm pressing for the prize my friend ;o)...to rule and reign with Him. Happy is he who has part in the first resurrection!
20:6 Blessed and holy [is] he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

That is so true. Jesus is the prize we are waiting for. He says that we must keep pressing on to that day, to never quit nor give up! I was in Israel in May touring the Holyland and stood on the Mount of Olives looking toward the eastern gate where the Holy Temple is at.

When I read this my brother the Blue Ray DVD player came to mind
Now for years we have been using regular DVD players but now the Blue Ray
Is here and evrything before is out dated and if you don't have one thing this won't play
Or if you buy the wrong DVD it wont play see God never want us to get caught up with the
things of this world but he wanted us to be wrapped up in Him...Thank God I have out grown
Some things because they brought me no REAL PLEASURE.......But GOD GIVES THE BEST OF EVERYTHING AND IT IS NEVER OUT DATED.........WHAT A MAN |

I remember 17-18 years ago, trying to read Revelations and it just scared the thunder out of me. Then... after life experiences, and much study and listening to older people and their stories, I read Revelation. Ya know, it's difficult reading... so I got the New Living Translation and read it. Then I purchased the New Testament CD's.
Oh my word. It was incredible and exciting. No more fears for me. I don't worry about anything. In fact I do adore my laptop so I can communicate. But I won't it - as Brother Todd says... no U-Hauls!
