May 6th...just another day in history..happens to be my wife's birthday...but this year is different... At three minutes and four seconds after 2 AM on the 6th of May this year, the time and date will be 02:03:04 05/06/07 (6th of May...6 numbers include the time and date in sequence...2,3,4,5,6,7) So how is that for a totally useless fact!!! |

| What's MORE awesome, DC, is that YOU took the time to examine this day in your wife's life so closely that you came UP with this incredibly trivial (to us) event. Man, words don't describe how awesome your love for her is and what a great EXAMPLE it is for the rest of us. THANKS and God bless both of you!! (Can you tell I'm really moved here?) ~mike |

Mike, you really do need to get out more...;^) Thanks for the kind words. Cathy, at 2:00 AM in the morning...you'd come party with us? Joe, nothing much better than some Martinelli's, a bowl of Moosetracks, and my honey cuddled up under a blanket watching 24 (last season since we have it on DVD). Yeah... |

| DC, 5/6 sounds like a great day for a road trip. I bet your wife would love to see all the sights in Columbia. And, since it is a Sunday, you can join us at C3 for church!!! :-) |

Carebear...we have been married 18 years as of April 15th...if you look at her Tae Kwon Do picture you can see her name...Ann AngiePangie...I like it! Dennis, totally useless, but by looking at Cathy's comment you can see that others find it stimulates their mind to determine yet more useless trivia! Gotta love it. Mary Ann...not sure about the roadtrip to Columbia...since it is her day, I will do the manly thing and submit to her wishes - gladly! |

You've never had Moose Tracks? What kind of sheltered life have you led? Oh, Cathy, I feel so sorry for you. Stop everything you are doing and go to the store today and get some. It will change your life forever...or at least your concept of great ice cream. Hershey introduced Denali Moose Tracks about 10 years ago. It is a vanilla-based ice cream with fudge chocolate swirled through it with little reeses peanut butter cups blending in throughout. There are some others that make it now, but Hershey's is still the best. They also have a Caramel Moosetracks that has chocolate fudge and chocolate-covered caramels swirled throughout it. Please, please, please don't live another day without trying it. Have JIm take you to Baskin and Robbins tonight and get some there - Hersheys makes the B&R Moose Tracks. |

Cathy, I'll talk it over with her and let you know what she says. She just called. Taking my oldest to the emergency room...some kid stuck a plant stem in his ear and it is bleeding....arrrgh. Wyatt, I loved the 40s, but I see 50 coming at me like a semi and I am not liking it much at all. With the exception of a stroke in 2002, I have been in great health. That may sound kind of strange, but it is true. It came out of nowhere and left the same way. Only thing I can't do is put on a bracelet or cuff links and I can live without them. |

| OK, son update...today was his "manners" banquet. They get all dressed up and go to a fancy restaurant as "dates". He was actually looking forward to it this time...went out and bought himself a new suit and everything. They had ten of them in a limo coming back to school and he was dosing off. The boy next to him took his carnation and stuck it in his ear. Ripped the edge of his inner ear. They can't tell if it ripped the ear drum. Has to go to an ENT specialist on Monday. The emergency room stopped the bleeding and gave him some Tylenol 3. He is doing all right now. Thanks for praying my friend... |

I guess we are getting old...just shortly before midnight this morning, I crawled into bed. My wife woke up long enough to ask me "You aren't really going to get me up at 020304 are you?" I just smiled and didn't answer. Any of you who have been married for a while know that the only answer here is given in the question. But today is her birthday. Daughter Kelly had the cake decorated with a Kumdo sword...well, if you ook at it just right, it might look like a Kumdo sword. Gifts are ready. After I finish my second cup of coffee, I will go wake everybody. Today the Ann and Kelly have to make their last payment on the summer trip to New Orleans. It will be exciting to see who is going. Yeah, next to Jesus, she is the best thing that ever happened to me. I am so grateful that 47 years ago today, her mom chose life.I am so glad that God dragged me from Illinois to California and dragged her from Miami to California so the two of us could meet. I am so glad to be blessed with three children who love the Lord and love their parents (at this moment in time ;)) Today, I am very grateful for the sunrise and although it is kind of chilly here in southern Maryland, this is the day that the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it! |

Hey, guys!! This is DC's 'other half' here, just stopping by to say 'hello' and thank you for all the kind comments. Cathy, Carebear, Joe, et al.: in deference to age and sleep needs, the party will be moved to 2:03:04 05/06/07 PM. You bring the Martinelli's, I'll buy the Moosetracks. Mary Ann, thanks for the card, the comments, and all the encouragement. Two scoops of Moosetracks for you! Harley-Ridin' Rosie: you GO, girl!!! When I hit 50, maybe we can take a road trip! Wyatt: A bigg Oooooooo-RAHH to you, bro! Mike: Small details add GREAT benefits!!!! ;-) Hubby and I will be 'celebrating' for the next 18 years, too! Thanks again, everyone! Have some cake for me. -Black Belt Bride PS: I heard rumor that VOICE will turn 50 on Nov 5, just in case anyone wants to write that date down and remember. ;-) |

| We had cake and ice cream this evening at 05/06/07 08:09:10. Technically it wasn't 08, but 20. Oh well. It was still fun. I enjoyed sharing this blog with Ann and she enjoyed reading it a lot. Thanks to all who helped make it a special day for my bride. |
