Amen Steve Excellent

6) And most importantly, steer by passionately loving and obeying Jesus Christ.  If you follow Jesus with your whole heart, you will consistently do these things to steer your life in His direction.

I recently told my family that I am going to the next level and that means not doing all the little things that get tossed at me just to avoid hurt feelings. I have been invited to a candle party, not unholy but it isn't what I want or need and money can be used to put in missions or church building needs. I have learned to say no to things where I may have said yes to avoid hurt feelings.

I don't feel responsible to do so now. I also realized I spent hours watching Home and Garden Network TV almost in a trance. It isn't unholy either but it was hours. I have decided to pare down the hours and spend time in the WORD or at least Christian books or INSP inspirational tv because I get something from that I can build on.

I have been "playing" on blueletterbible.org and enjoying just looking up a word and seeing what bible references pop up. It is sort of like surfing on the web only it is only bible and then they have multiple translations so you only need to click a letter beside the verse and they will give you all of them for that verse side by side like the old parallel bible I had once.

It is amazing the breakthroughs I have had with just a few small adjustments in my life, not allowing other things/people to control me.

Great thoughts brother, great thuoghts. I have some music that references driving. It's lyrics suggest to look straight ahead, never look back, you can bet your life you're on the right track. You can't drive straight if you are looking in the rear view mirror.

I had been stuck in doing that since my son's suicide and working my way forward. Peace/juanita

1:1 Blessed [is] the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 1:2 But his delight [is] in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Thank you, Steve, for that blessed message.

"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path."  (Psalms 119:105)

The word of God will forever lead me.

Yah! The last line clinges it.  With Jesus as key and road map - igniting The Way.
13:20 Now the God of peace, who brought again from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep with the blood of an eternal covenant, `even' our Lord Jesus, 13:21 make you perfect in every good thing to do his will, working in us that which is well-pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom `be' the glory for ever and ever. Amen.

I tryed to do my own steering but I just cant do it without Jesus Christ for He in incharge of how I use the steering wheel everything I do is done in prayer before I use my steering wheel with Jesus Christ I am steering in the correct direction . Jesus is so much apart of my life now when I think of Him a tear comes to my eyes for all the He has for all of us .Jesus Christ is my steering wheel GOD BLESS ALL

Denise:  Jesus is the Key!

Brian:  Jesus directs us, but we must steer or free will in His direction.  Awesome how you have allowed Jesus to be so real in your life.
