12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, [which is] your reasonable service.
ALL YOU CAN EAT Bacon & Egg Breakfast $1.99
HELP WANTED INQUIRE WITHIN
The Chicken and the Pig were walking along one day and they were beginning to get hungry. The chicken spots a diner in the distance and says, "Hey look all you can eat for $1.99!" The Pig said, "That sounds great to me! But I can't see too well in the distance. What else does that sign say?" "Bacon and Eggs for $1.99!" The chicken also states that there is a help wanted sign. There was silence for a moment when the chicken asks, "Hey Pig, do you think we should go apply for the job? "The Pig stops for a moment looks at the chicken and says emphatically, "No Way!" But "Why?" asks the chicken? "We sure are hungry and we could do some work to earn some money to eat." The Pig points out to the chicken, "Well, for you it's a donation, to help out, but for me it would be a sacrifice!"
God is looking for us to be living sacrifices unto Him. Either we are "all in" or we are just making a donation. |
