I'm usually a 10 but I'll come back later and if I feel better than I usually do I'll let you know!

I'm a 10 for Jesus anytime. I have to command my body to praise Him. It's not what I feel like, it's what I'm commanded to do. You should not have to pump someone up for Jesus. Look at what He's done for us. When I feel a little down sometime. I just look at my hands and feet and think to myself. Jesus had nails driven in His hands and feet. He was beaten for me so that I may live. So what I'm going through is nothing compared to what He's done for me. So 10 yes.

hummmm  honesty is the best policy
anyone who would claim to be a 10 always deceives himself
and you would be living the life of an Apostle  .. or maybe even the most Christ-like we have ever seen!
A 10 for Jesus- yes - always
but we are also human beings and never hang out at 10 always.

Myself??  I'm hanging around a 7 today after a lesson on the pain of others
He always uplifts after a lesson

Bubbles:  Very good point.  Some days I feel pretty low, but I have made the habit of always acting better than I feel  and it works!

Remarkable:  Keep acting 1 point higher all day and by evening you will be on up there -- at least an 8 or 9.

Awesome, Steel.  It really does work.  We can act ourselves into feeling better.  When we rejoice, the feelings will follow.

I've come to learn in this walk with the Lord, it ain't got a thing to do with *how I feel*.. It's not about *me*...It's about God....So whether I'm being attacked, overwhelmed, or physically or mentally not up to par...I WILL YET PRAISE HIM ;o)

I never feel good after I sin,and I sin every day. Today I did and I think that most believers do, for whatsoever is not of faith is sin. I feel better when I think about what Jesus did for me, and I feel better when I write a gratitude list out. I am going to do this little experiment as I don't think 10 % is much to ask. We are not sinless, we just sin less (hopefully) and this has been true in my 151 days as a new believer and I love Jesus.

That's the Spirit, Mar Jay!

Jeff:  Great point.  Sin makes us feel bad.  Not only do we need to physically act better than we feel, we also should morally act better than we feel.  We should resist sinful acts and thoughts no matter how bad we feel.  And trust God to help us overcome them.

Good stuff!!   Walking in the Spirit always, ALWAYS puts us above what we THINK we should be feeling.  If we rely on the Holy Spirit in us- the "us" becomes smaller and smaller.
so AMEN MarJay

Jeff!!!  Brother!!!!  I like that, gonna use that.

The key to this is using it when something happens to bring us down.
W should start each morning Praising the Lord which sets us at 10 to start with.
