I will rejoice, for HE has made me glad! Psalm 122:1 I was glad when they said to me, Let us go into the house of the LORD. I Chron 16:31 Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let [men] say among the nations, The LORD reigns. Psalm 9:1-2 I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works. I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High. Psalm 31:7-8 I will be glad and rejoice in Your mercy and steadfast love, because You have seen my affliction, You have taken note of my life's distresses, and You have not given me into the hand of the enemy; You have set my feet in a broad place. This is just the beginning of what the Bible says about being glad! Take some time, do a search for the word "glad" in the scriptures (you can use www.bible.com for this). You will be amazed at how God wants you to be glad in Him! |
