Good evening my friends and welcome to back to reading my blogs. Let me also throw in this advertisement to check out my site that I have updated with music. Now let's get to the good stuff...
IN A MOMENT
God can take your life and change it in a matter of a moment. Your plans, your dreams, your desires....everything can change in a moment. In this generation today, this may not sound satisfying due to the fact that we all try to plan out our days. In fact, I submit to you right now, that during the past half of an hour, most of you thought about what was going to happen tomorrow. Why?
Why are you planning out your conversations? Why are you planning out your days? Why do we live as if we know what is going to happen tomorrow?
In a moment, God can take you and use you to show His glory and love to the Lost, the Sick, and the Dying people of this world. In a moment, God could use you to speak the Light of His Word to the Darkness of Sin that covers this land. What if He chose to use you tomorrow?
What if God chose to use you to pray over someone who is having a seizure? What if God chose to use you to pray for someone in Walmart? What if God chose to use you to go to that man sitting on the streets? Yes, that man who just prayed for God to show Himself or he would kill himself. What if God chose to use you to lay hands on those that most people wouldn't dream of touching? What if God chose to use you as you lay down your life for a friend....or even a stranger?
Would you humbly but persistantly try to persuade God not to use you?
My dear friends, God wants you to be a man or a woman that lives for the "moment". Yes, He wants us all to dream about to the future and better things; however He would rather us live in the moment of the Spirit so that His love can be seen than live a hundred years and we never allow His power to show.
How can God use us in the mulitude, if we are reluctant to allow us to let Him use us in that one person?
I challenge you today to become that one who lives in the moment of the Spirit. Walk in the Spirit. Live in a moment. Live in this moment. Right now, God is waiting for you to just stop and to trust in Him again. Right now, God is waiting for you to give Him this moment. For in a moment, God will change your life.
