Blood driped down her arm as she rolled over and attempted to reach the phone for help. Then she heard the noise again...an intruder. Quickly she pressed in to the comfort she knew, her down pillow. Suddenly, she awoke. Dripping in perspiration she raised up and pressed into the real truth, the Word of God that was laying on her table patiently waiting for her to pick it up. Thumbing through the pages of freedom she prayed....Lord, I don't know how to surrender in this new area....this is different.
God answered with, Proverbs 10:27
10:27 The fear of Jehovah prolongeth days; But the years of the wicked shall be shortened.
The battle waged inside her thoughts as satan tried to keep hold of her....he reminded her of many things that were already under the blood of Jesus and she was set free from. As she stood to take hold of the win, satan pulled out the ultimate wound....he hissed, remember when......
Truth still remained but she needed back-up for her armor was coming apart with each word he spoke.....
50:15 And call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.
She began to pray as the verse rolled through her mind...she was thankful for the years she was trained up in the way she should go by her parents...Sunday school had paid off....
31:15 My times are in thy hand: Deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.
6:12 For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual `hosts' of wickedness in the heavenly `places'.

As we face each new day we must take up the whole amor and always be ready. Scripture says satan is seeking whom he can devour! The strength of our position is in Christ Jesus! Thank you for sharing!
