4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God, and not from ourselves;
Clay Jar Destiny Diadem
She is a brown clay jar with treasures inside that glisten as a star, Because she lives not her life in pride.
She is a clay jar always at war.
Many attack to make her weak, But through that broken clay Heavenly treasures continue to leak.
She cries in pain
When she’s scattered about. Not seeing that others actually gain Though she feels down and out.
That woman made of clay
Is filled with rubies, pearls, and gold! She is a woman who lives to pray If the plain truth be told.
Each time she is scattered on the floor,
God redesigns her stronger, And her treasures become more And her boundaries become longer.
She is a woman of much war,
Fighting for holiness and truth. She is a brown clay jar, Extracting sin from the root.
Many gifts fill her secret place.
She is rich though she appears poor. Daily she seeks God’s face And He rewards her more and more. You too can be a clay jar.
Just give yourself to God. Then you’ll learn who you truly are As He leads you with his staff and rod. |
