6:65 And he said, For this cause have I said unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it be given unto him of the Father.
6:65 And he said, "This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father."
I've been studying the writings of Martin Luther concerning the concept of "Free Will" and am convinced our will is controlled by God and the flesh. Even having a strong faith is only granted/found by God and not ourselves-"see above". Granted the subject is complicated and open to intense discussion - Luther's arguments are valid and are substantiated by clear Biblical teachings - "see above".
