Today started off pretty slow with some good waffles and bacon at breakfast, followed by looking over my sermon again for Sunday night. After we all got ready, we headed out to Mt. View Elementary to show our support for the awesome FBC missions team! Those people were just incredible. They worked so hard getting ready for this sale, and then worked even harder at the sale itself. Their attitudes were amazing, and you really could see and feel the joy of Christ exhibited in them. It was a pleasure to be in their company today! After we left the sale, we headed to Natural Bridge, VA. We took Aubri to the zoo there. We had been there before, last fall, but she was too young to really enjoy it. This time however, she really got into it. She got to touch several animals, and see giraffes, and tigers, and really weird birds, as well as monkeys and zebras! If you have not been there, it is definitely worth checking out. When we were done there, we headed back to Covington, after stopping for some Taco Bell. Ahhh, what a great place! Good food, and a lot of it for really cheap prices. I love the bell. When we got home, we watched a 24 episode, and I conked out. Man I had a killer headache! When I got up and got some aspirin, I fixed our lawn mower-WHOO HOOO!!! Then, I actually mowed our jungle, I mean our yard. It was good to excercise and I got to see the beautiful sunset. Now, I'm going to eat some Reese's peanut butter puffs cereal(the best in the world!), and look over my sermon notes again. I may watch another 24 episode before I actually go to dream land. I'll probably have some interesting dreams, huh?! I'm looking forward to a great day celebrating my faith, and my Lord with all my wonderful brothers and sisters at Faith Baptist! Here's a rundown of the day there: - Next mesage in the Heaven help the home series by Bro. Billy
- Aubri is getting publicly dedicated unto the Lord and His service tomorrow at 10:30am
- Fellowship in the afteroon with both sets of parents that are coming to see Aubri be dedicated.
- Preaching my message on the will of God in the evening, and our fantastic, close friends, Mike and Marcy Brown joining us in the service to briefly share about their missions trip.
Great day ahead, all to God's glory! Sleep well: Chris. |
