Dear Reader, According to polls that have been taken, about 85 to 90 percent of American people who are not saved, do not know how to be saved. Are you sure you will go to Heaven when you die? Please take a few moments to read this simple outline of God's way of salvation given from the Bible.

 Do I need to be saved?

 1. God is holy. No sin will ever enter His presense, for "righteousness and judgment are the habitation of His throne." (Psalm 97.2)

  2. Man is sinful. "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23)

  3. Sin separates man from God. "Your iniquities have separted between you and your God, and your sins have hid His face from you." (Isaiah 59:2)

  4. It is impossible for man to save himself. "By the deeds of the law [ability to keep God's commandments] there shall no flesh [person] be justified [declare righteous] in His sight." (Romans 3:20).

Can I be saved?

 1. God sent His Son to be your Savior. "Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son [Jesus Christ] to be the propitiation [atoning sacrifice through His death on the cross] for our sins." (1 John 4:10)

 2. The risen Savior invites sinners to receive Him. "Come unto me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28) [ Don't you know that Jesus Christ is our Sabbath rest].

 3. Forgiveness of sins and salvation can be yours today. "For Christ also has once suffered for sins, the just [Jesus Christ] for the unjust [unsaved], that He might bring us to God." (1 Peter 3;18)

How can I be saved?

 1. Agree with God that you are a sinner unable to save yourself. "But God commends [demonstrate] His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us, (Romans 5:8)

 2. Believe that Jesus Christ died fro your sins and receive Him as the Savior, and Lord. "As many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons [children] of God, even to them that believe on His name" (John 1:12)

 3. Call upon Him to be saved. You might pray something like this: Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner who needs your forgiveness. I believe that You died in my place to pay the penalty for my sins and that You rose from the dead. I now place my trust in You alone to save me. Thank You for giving me the free gift of eternal life Amen.

 Prayer per se will not saved you, but, God honor a sincere prayer that comes from the heart, and hear people that prays asking Him to save them. This prayer is between you and God, the transaction will be taken by faith, and God will take that as part of your sincere desire to be save.
