I saw that commercial you're talking about... it was for California Cheese, where the duck was trying to meditate, and it was saying "om," but the cows were trying to correct him and say it was supposed to be "moo," and the duck couldn't get it "right."  There's another one for E-surance where a guy says E-surance lets him relax, and then you see him sitting on the ground in front of some Cambodian temple the same way as the lady on the McDonald's cup, saying "om."

And as for Oprah... check this out... you can find this one on YouTube if you search for "Oprah denies Christ": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_aT6eyKn2rs  And here's Oprah talking to a "psychic" lady, asking her to channel a dead guy named Abraham... the lady explains how she does it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gjLFM0K0eiI  And here's one about the "church of Oprah," which was her and Eckhart Tolle going through every chapter of his book "A New Earth," the title of which Eckhart says he got from the book of Revelation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NizojZIX7Aw... that's the one where Oprah says she thinks God is jealous of her.  I also saw a clip of her and Dr. Oz on the show promoting Yoga, Qi Gong, and Tai Chi as good relaxation techniques because of how they allegedly lower stress levels and blood pressure.

And I remember when I was in modern dance classes at YSU, we used to do some pretty weird looking warm-ups and cool-downs in those classes, and I could NEVER ever get them right, ever.  I kept slipping and sliding and falling on my butt repeatedly as if I'd never been in a dance class before in my life, and the professor was confused as to how I could ace the dancing part, but look like a bumbling clutz for the warm-ups and cool-downs.  Then one day I happened to come across something about Yoga on a website... that's when I discovered that the warm-ups and cool-downs were actually Yoga moves and poses... and the professor never bothered to tell us that it was Yoga we were doing.  That was the sneakiest one... I knew nothing at all about Yoga aside from that it was some Hindu religious thing that a Christian should have no part of, and I had no desire to ever do Yoga for just that reason, and because I wouldn't have known Yoga from Pilates if I saw it, the college professor had me doing Yoga and not even knowing it.  That could probably explain a LOT about why it was so impossible for me to do it right... X-)

Yep, Lions of....I hear you.
Unfortunately, New Age thinking is also invading the church. Dave Hunt wrote a classic "The Seduction of Christianity" a few years ago. And got blasted by alot of Christians no less! "It`s Supernatural" is a whorehouse of false teachers. A couple [false] bible teachers were promoting "How to Communicate with your Angels", "How to Engage and Cooperate with your Angels", & "How to receive Dreams & Visions from God" teaching materials. This is straight out of new age beliefs and practices. Nowhere does the bible teach we should chase after experiences with Angels. We are to put our Faith in God and Follow Him!
And another time, a couple of other false bible teachers were promoting that every Christian receives Dreams [which are night visions] & Visions from Yahweh all the time, which is NOT scriptural. Check out my blog teaching posts, "Dreams & Visions" and "Communicating with Angels" for more info. Also, Messianic Jewish Believer, Mike Oppenheimer, was involved with the "New Age" and got saved through the ministry of Dave Hunt. His website is www.letusreason.org and is a good source of info on alot of different topics.
Another point to consider, there is some new age thinking in the "faith movement" [The false prophet Kenneth Copeland, Creflo Dollar, etc.] A good read is by Christian Apologist and bible scholar John Ankerberg - "The Facts of the Faith Movement". His website is www.johnankerberg.org his books are only $5. each. And "Christianity in Crisis" by Hank Hanegraaff is also an excellent resource on this subject. I`ve read both! ALL the Christian Apologetics ministries I know of and a great many other reputable ministries have labeled some of what "faith teachers" are teaching as Doctrinal Heresy, which it is. You can read my blog teaching post FAITH MOVEMENT HERESIES. I have researched this, so I know what I`m talking about. I even went to a church like that when I was a baby Christian. I was only there for a year or less, and even then I knew something was wrong. That`s why I left. Even the pastor of that church has since repented and renounced all that stuff before the entire church! In Y`shua, Tom.
