So I realized that because of my absolutely crazy schedule, I haven't played around on here for months (haha). I apologize if anyone has sent me anything that I ignored. Here is an update of what God has done in the past few months:
I currently am entering into my last year of college (well, to recieve my Bachelors, anyway). I am student teaching at Manor Elementary this semester, then I'm student teaching at a preschool in the winter semester. After that, I walk the line of graduation. God has been so good in all of this, ministering to me through the classes I'm taking and guiding me through them. He has given this gift to me, in order for me to turn it back to praise. Teaching is my ministry, and He has been faithful in giving me the tools I need to advance His kingdom. I feel Him calling me out of Michigan in my teaching career. Where I go and how I get there is His call. My job is simply to obey.
Just in these months, He has given me the chance to minister musically by singing with Kel in church. I love that He allows me to worship Him in more than one way. It makes me feel as if I'm more useful to Him.
Also in these few months, a friend of nearly 8 years came to the Lord in a new way. He is in the army, serving as a special agent in counterintelligence in New York. We began speaking after a few years of a rocky friendship and he came to visit Redeemer. In that Sunday morning, he made the commitment to follow Jesus with all of his life. He and I have grown together spiritually and God led us from friends to a relationship. We advance each other as followers of Christ and drive each other forward, pressing on toward the goal. Our perfect Father called us to be this way and has provided for us.
I keep in mind Romans 8:28 and continue to just live in daily obediance.
