| Foundation Stone or Stumbling Block? |
|
| |
The above is the title for David's sermon on August 24th. He writes: "Everyone of us has the capacity for brilliant insight and great mistakes, and God likes us that way. One minute Simon was "the rock on which Jesus would build the Church." The next he was Satan, as in "get behind me Satan!" How can one person be so brilliant? How can the same person be so mistaken? We should know. Are we aware of our giftedness? Are we willing to make mistakes?
Read Matthew 16:13-20 (you can just click here to see it) and then think about where you have been a stumbling block to God's will and where you have been a foundation stone on which He could begin to build.
