True Steve, but remember that the sinner knows no better! It is in their DNA,,,through the grace (Grave) of God we have a new spirit with the DNA of Jesus...we are blessed!

At a time in my life I admit I was all of the above in the statement . As I became older I grew to love Jesus Christ this gave me positive beliefs and faith thanks to the power of prayer and the love that Jesus Christ has for all of us. I have asked to be forgiven of my past and now the present just gets better there is a future in my life when at one time I  belived I was a nothing but I am a something now . The best way to show this is to share the word of Jesus Christ to others that have still not excepted Jesus I need to show them there is no other way but to have love for Jesus Christ. I will be 55 yrs. old I have been saved for 5yrs. now its never to late to except Jesus into your life

Very true. I appreciate the message.

Waves wrote: "i intend on showing everyone who ever thought such low expectations about me that they are wrong."

That's the mindset of those who are beginning to see themselves as God see them: of infinite value. So highly does He value us that He asks us to live up to HIS expectations because He knows that by the grace of God, we can.

And there are no higher expectations than His!

Great comments.  Thanks to all for reading my blog, commenting, and giving stars.  I've got to live up to some high expectations!!!

At times I struggle with having expectations of myself that are either too low (i.e. underestimating my ability with God's power behind me) and those that are too high (i.e. striving for perfection through selfish ambition). Thanks for the challenge to have faith in God instead of fearing my imperfections and to have a healthy fear of God instead of faith in myself.

Amen Steve,  I believe that is what has lead so many people to need our ARC programs. Our ministry to help them see their potential in God's eyes and live up to His expectations(plans) for their lives.

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, Plans for good and not for harm. Plans to give you a hope and a future"

Let us all help each other to see and live His expectations

The part on marriage is so true!  Why do people go into marriage and say if it does not work out in six months, there is always divorce court!

I came across some quotes this morning which reminded me of this blog so I had to come back and share (since I know you have an affinity for quotes):

"Lord, help me to do great things as though they were little, since I do them with Your power; and little things as though they were great, since I do them in Your name."

                                                        -Blaise Pascal

"Expect great things from God; attempt great things for God."

                                                        -William Carey
