Funny, Rich.  I had to Google tattoo parlors in Bakersfield and there were some pretty interesting names.  There was like 'Voodoo Viper' or something like that.  I'll call Katie if I decide to go 'inky.'  I'm sure that we could come up with something 'inspirational' to do.

Hi, honey.  When I'm there, I'll see about those 'pierce one get one free' coupons that you like.

Yeah, and shave our heads, too.  Oh, I guess you already did that (ha).  Seriously, though, can you imagine going into a church where they all had big logo tattoos that matched on their necks or something.  That would give me the creeps.

I kind of think of our earthly bodies as cars that we are going to have to turn in before we go on to heaven.  Some are going to be in immaculate condition.  The ones that have seat covers and sun protection and get washed every other day.  Some are going to be heavily 'decorated' with artwork.  Some (like me) are going to be on fumes and held together by chewing gum and duct tape.  You'll probably be able to hear some fan belts thinning out a cloud formation or two before they actually get to the lot.  At least when you get to the lot and the attendant asks you why you are returning the car in that condition, you can say, "Rental!"

Melody you are cracking me up!!!  My rental is growing: I started as a coupe and have slowly worked my way to a full-size vehicle.  Must work on that!  Seriously I'm fascinated by tattoos.  If I could think of something that I'd want on my body forever, I'd get one.  So far, nothing comes to mind.  I keep trying to talk Rich into it though.  He has his tats all planned out, but he's a cheapskate!  Maybe someday...

Maybe Rich could go with something in the floral line since he loved the decorative pens that we made so much!  Maybe a pansy (ha).  I know about not having anything that I am THAT committed to to put on me forever.  When we were doing the fasting thing, I tried to have a little cross design on my hand that was visible as a reminder to keep praying and trusting the Lord.  I just ended up scaring myself, though, because I would forget it was there and think it was a bug when I saw it out of the corner of my eye.  I'm so lame.

Wouldn't it be cool if we could take our 'cars' in for some 'major overhauls'?  I'm thinking a month at one of those health spa places where they make exercise fun and feed you gourmet fruits and vegetables and make sure that a massage is part of your daily plan.  I've never had those little cucumbers on my eyes before, but I think that I could get used to that.  I think that it would definately be a part of keeping our 'temple of the Holy Spirit' in the most honorable condition possible.  Surely the Lord wants to sponsor THAT project!

Have a great night!

Oh, I forgot - cough, cough.  Ahem (clearing throat).  Sniff.  Ready, Brianna?  OK.  Here goes.  YES, YOUNG LADY!!!  YOU ARE UNDERAGE AND WAY TOO YOUNG TO EVEN THINK OF CONSIERING THE RMOTE POSSIBILITY OF DOING SOMETHING AS TOTALLY INSANE AS GETTING A TATTOO.  JUST WIPE THAT OUT OF YOUR MIND, YOUNG LADY!!!!  WE ARE NEVER TO SPEAK OF THIS AGAIN, DO YOU HEAR?

Hee hee.  Maybe when you are 80, you can begin to think of doing something this crazy.  Your 80th birthday would be good.  By that time, your grandparents and parents will be dead and they won't kill you.
