I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Swanberg. I had taken care of one of his friend's wife when I first heard of him. My patient's hubby gave me a tape of him and told me that while he served on the financial committee, Dennis was pastor and they became great friends. I just thought Dennis was a local comedian at the time, but I enjoyed his comedy. About 6 mo. later, Dennis came here on tour along with Mark Lowry. Ken and I had done something for someone in our church previously, and they bought us tickets to see them! Well, when I told my pts. hubby, he said "You have to talk with him personally and tell him you take care of Miss _____!!!! That's what Dennis calls her".....I thought ok, we'll see....well, after the show, I did get to see him as we were leaving and thought I'd go ahead and make a fool of myself, lol........oh myyyyyyyyyyy, when I told him who I took care of, he asked if he could give me a hug to give her and wanted to know how she was doing and talked and talked......goes to show you that you never know who someone knows, lolololol.
I truely love a good story... and this had me really LOL'ing... the son came in from the other room to see if I was alright... LOL... he's too young to even try to explain the humor... will have to save this to share when he gets a bit older.
