Same subject- topic washing Current mood: accomplished Category: Writing and Poetry Free Write: In the process of clearing my heart, a cleaning and washing is taking place. My cry to God to help me really search my heart that I may know what resides with in has been ... deep. Don't even know if I am near the bottom but new knowledge is revealed and new hurt-pain. I think only because I am here and in the word and in the Spirit of Truth that I am able to do this washing and actually stomache some of the new revelations. Thank You God that You alone are bigger than all things! Thank You God that all the enemy means for evil even that You are so awesome You turn it to Good YOUR GOOD! And You make it untouchable...Thank You!!!!!!!!!! Jer 4:14 Wash your heart from wickedness, .... Upon further reflection of the open part of this verse - Wash= transitive verb to clean something with water, usually with added soap or detergent The only way to "wash your heart from wickedness is by using pure Holy water, and the only thing that would have the consistancy of 'soap' would be the Word of God. As the verse continues (depending on which translation of course) there is a question/pleading question : "How long shall your evil thoughts reside (or 'lodge') within you?" What are you doing with your thoughts? What was/am I doing? How often do I replay things that happened?... Things that I did? Things I didn't do, (woulda-shoulda-coulda-if only?) Where do I 'lodge' those evil thoughts... I gave them residence- not only that but- DEAR GOD... I AM SORRY! I LOOKED and THEY EVEN HAVE HAVE DECORATIVE ADDRESS PLATES! Much further did I delve (all on a even more personal note-sooo not blog worthy however this is what I was left with after prayer and more supplication) Learn to do good instead (Isaiah 1:16-20)seek justice, reprove the opressor, defend the fatherless, plead for the widow...Reason together with the Lord...Though your sins are scarlet they shall be made white as snow, Though my sins are red as crimson, they shall be as wool, If you are willing and obeidient you shall eat the good of the land ... I get to choose to learn to do good and put His word and law on my heart! Prov 3:1-4 and in the process of keeping His commands in my heart I get to replace a new residnce of mercy and truth... I can bind them around my neck and write them on the tablet of my heart. Thank You God for Your mercy and truth (even if it takes 2o years for the enemy to try and destroy- it only takes one of Your words to HEAL :0) I love You.
