| Live like you were LIVING |

A couple of Weeks ago the Holy Spirit laid something so exciting to me on my heart I want to share it. I was sitting out on the carport early one Tuesday morning drinking my coffee and thinking about all I had to do that day, when a country song I had not heard in a long time popped into my head. It was Live like you were dying. I began to think I know that it meant to live each day to the fullest, but...., The Holy Spirit whispered in my heart, You are not dying, why live like you are dying, live like you are LIVING. Praise His Holy name. He began to put Scriptures in my mind that promise us, eternal life, everlasting life and abundant life through Our Risen Saviour Jesus Christ. I have really been thinking on this and realized The Holy Spirit was sent as tounges of fire. Have I been quenching the fire, The precious Holy Spirit? It seems so easy sometimes to get distracted and take our eyes of of Jesus, to lose the passion and excitment I once had for all the desires my Heavenly Father put in my heart. Wednesday night I felt God speaking directly to me through Bobby's message in such a powerfull way. He reminded me He has a purpose and a perfect plan for me, but I must diligintly seek Him and the purpose He has for me, not the plans I have . I put so many restrictions on myself, I can't do that, I don't know how to do that, I don't know what to say, etc.. How wonderfull it is to have a Reedemer who gives us the power to say" I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me". Jesus is saying th same words to us He said to Martha "I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet Shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?"
I believe. I choose not to live like I were dying, but To Live Like I were Living! |
